The ideal candidate will coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. This individual must be comfortable providing guidance on resolution while adhering to policies and processes.
This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate and work with remote teams.
Responsibilities
Manage the monthly commission process for Salesforce direct sales. This includes understanding and applying the commission plan consistently, ensuring commission calculations comply with the plan, and managing exception requests versus policy
Identify the opportunities to improve the existing process to provide seamless support to Sales
Lead Innovation projects to design/develop self-assistance tools for Sales
Conduct sales enablement sessions to enable sales on the Sales/Incentive comp policies
Receive, investigate and resolve incoming inquiries related to variable compensation. Frequent communication with account executives and sales management via commission cases and become a trusted advisor to our Sales teams
Coordination with various departments to ensure requests are handled along deadlines
Process corrections and adjustments as they arise
Provide recommendations to sales management and the internal comp management team regarding exception requests and case-critical issues (escalations)
Provide backup support within the team
Required experience
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the skills you'll use every day for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
4+ years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a SaaS company

Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; detail and process-oriented
Excellent command of English with effective communication skills
Works well independently and as a strong team player
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Responsive to tight deadlines and ability to prioritize appropriately
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Experience using Salesforce and/or automated sales commissions systems is a plus (e.g. Xactly, Callidus)
Experience with SQL, Salesforce, and Python is a plus
