Description:
Salesforce is seeking an Associate Member of Technical Staff - DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing DevSecOps team supporting enterprise-scale engineering operations. As a junior member of our team, you'll work alongside senior engineers to build and maintain the tools, platforms, and processes that enable our engineers to deliver secure, high-quality software at scale. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn modern DevOps practices while contributing to systems that impact millions of users worldwide.#

Responsibilities:
Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation solutions
Build and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and multi-cloud environments
Participate in automation initiatives across the development lifecycle, from code commit to production deployment
Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and incident response under guidance of senior engineers
Support monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for development and production environments
Participate in Agile development practices including standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning
Engage with internal engineering teams to understand their needs and provide basic support
Required Skills:
0-2 years of professional experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or related technical role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Solid programming skills in one or more languages (ex: Python, NodeJs, Java)
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Git, Jenkins,Github Actions, or similar)
Foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command line tools
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker basics)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Desired Skills:
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Basic understanding of Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Understanding of security principles and secure coding practices
Experience with database concepts and SQL
Familiarity with API development and testing
Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices
Interest in cybersecurity and secure development practices
