The Lead Solution Engineer Financial Services will act as a trusted advisor to our customers and prospects and be a key part of the team covering the Financial Services vertical in Germany.
Responsibilities:
Take a leading role in the sales cycle, define and coordinate the needed the solution strategy and orchestrate the extended team and experts.
Deeply understand client business challenges (insurance and/or banking) and identify how AI and salesforce technology can be leveraged to solve them by conducting needs assessments and gathering requirements
Convey a deep understanding of the client's industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions
Craft tailored AI solutions based on customer needs, including architecture design, use case identification, and potential implementation roadmaps
Deliver compelling product demos and presentations showcasing the capabilities of AI solutions, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
Design and present customized AI solutions to prospective customers, demonstrating how the Salesforce technology can deliver significant business value
Lead proof-of-concept projects to validate the feasibility of proposed AI solutions and demonstrate their effectiveness to potential clients
Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads, answer RFPs, develop winning sales strategies, and address technical questions during the sales cycle
Have a strong curiosity about growing your career, display a lifelong learning mindset by participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in German and English
Experience implementing Digital Transformation strategies and delivering increased success to their customers
Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training success for an enterprise software solution organization. We are open to a variety of backgrounds for the role
Strong technical background in AI and related technologies
Strong interest in hands-on technology work, with a curiosity for learning and adapting to innovations
Background/knowledge in banking and/or insurance
Proven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills
Shown time management and prioritization skills in a dynamic team environment
Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energising environments
Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge
Loves to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen
Good at searching out information and experimenting, love to concentrate on a particular topic, and take on puzzles
Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people's attention
Willing and able to travel occasionally
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
