    Position summary

    ng an experienced Manager or Senior Manager of Engineering to lead development teams in Revenue Cloud working on the next-generation of "Subscription Management CPQ" / "Quote To Cash product" and platform. In this role, you will directly shape how Salesforce delivers innovative, performant, AI-driven solutions across quoting, ordering, asset management and product configurator domains within Revenue Cloud at scale leveraging distributed systems architecture. You will not only be delivering on business-critical features required to implement Quote to Cash/Quote To Cash (CPQ - Configure, Price and Quote) by Fortune 500 enterprises but also design and build a platform that will be the foundation for various Industries (Insurance, Finance, Health, Auto, Manufacturing, Communications, Media, etc) to build their unique next-generation of products.     Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 7 - 15 individuals with room to manage first-line engineering manager (in case of Senior Manager), ensuring alignment, performance, and team cohesion

    • Team Building & Talent Growth: Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development

    • AI-Driven Developer Strategy: Define and own the technical vision for introducing AI in the Revenue Cloud product

    • Innovative Product Delivery: Oversee design, development, and on-time delivery of impactful features, balancing rapid iteration with long-term investments

    • Operational & Technical Excellence: Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability through best practices, monitoring, and hands-on technical guidance

    • Drive scalable and extensible architecture and good hygiene practices

    • Work closely with Support and key customers on production issues

    • Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product

    • Be proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving it before it happens

    • Daily management of stand-ups as the Scrum Master for engineering teams

    • Partner with PO to align with objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risk

    • Be a multiplier and have a passion for team and team members' success

    • Providing technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members

    • Participate in architecture discussions, design, code & test plan reviews, and lead release planning for team(s)

    • Participate in multi-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams

    • Maintain and encourage our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals while driving collaboration across teams

    • Occasionally chip in to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain an understanding of the deeply technical product as well as to keep your technical skill sharp

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of industry experience, with 3+ years in a people leadership role managing successful software engineering teams

    • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships within a highly matrixed organizational structure

    • Demonstrated experience leading programs, projects, and software services.

    • Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP or working on distribution systems

    • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and automation

    • Experience leading teams using and/or hands on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes

    • Experience and passion for service ownership, building reliable, self-healing services

    • Experience working in a complex team environment, with the ability to deliver under pressure and dependency constraints

    • Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with a strong focus on code quality and delivering secure code.

    • Background in Java programming

    • Experience with AI Integration (Preferred): Familiarity with integrating AI capabilities

    • Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field

    For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $253,000.

    For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000 to $276,100.
