Payroll Systems Manager will have diverse responsibilities primarily focused on technology and system support, improving our operational infrastructure, and supporting key business and operational initiatives. Core operational responsibilities include Payroll Systems Management, Enhancements and Prioritization, Team leadership, and end user systems support. This person will need to demonstrate business and technology skill and be able to apply their knowledge in conjunction with their technology skills and experience for successful scalable solutions and delivery. Candidates will possess a balance of business and technical skills/experience described, enjoy working in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment, and possess experience leading complex projects in support of an overall Business Technology and Employee Success program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Advanced Payroll Systems Management: You'll lead and optimize our payroll systems, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and ensuring that we apply technology to streamline our processes effectively.

    • Enhancement and Prioritization: Your expertise will be crucial in assessing new features, Prioritization based on business needs and end to end testing of new payroll systems or software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    • Team Leadership: As a manager, you will lead and support a team of payroll systems professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring they deliver consistently exceptional results

    • Establish Relationships: Engage with our Technology and business partners across Salesforce business units to understand business needs, analyze, document, evaluate and prioritize the requirements and drive Analytics and implementations

    • Create business requirement documents for new system features and enhancement

    • Drive, develop and maintain numerous project work that support the program, including functional/non-functional specifications, data mappings/transformations, solution designs, business and technical process diagrams, acceptance criteria, UAT script draft and execution, and other project artifacts.

    • Work effectively with the technical functional/engineering teams to ensure specifications and requirements for technical development, testing, and implementation are clearly and consistently understood

    • Support business and process owners with workday and payroll reporting, security maintenance and audit requirements.

    • Support and facilitate partnership between IT Support (internal and external providers) and functional business leads

    • Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy, completeness and/or consistency and implement solutions in process, policy, and overall operations

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or any Engineering subject area or Business with 10+ years of professional Managing Payroll process/systems experience or functional configuration experiences or equivalent experience

    • 5 years of overall systems experience with at least 3 years of previous Workday configuration experiences, or support with Workday implementation including integrations.

    • Experience with HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence modules.

    • Solid understanding of HR data models especially core HR, transactions, security and business processes.

    • Understanding of systems analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling

    • Experience with ADP Globalview implementation.

    • Experience building trusted business and technology relationships, driving and gathering business assessments, requirements, assessments, recommended/prioritized solutions, especially in the areas of enterprise systems integrations, data analysis, data extraction/delivery, source/target transformation/mappings and reporting

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

    • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts

    SKILLS CRITICAL TO SUCCESS:

    • Workday Pro Certified

    • Experience with the PICOF and PECI integrations

    • Analytical Acumen and Strong Mathematical Competence

    • Outstanding Organizational, Leadership, and Communication Proficiency

    • Effective Problem-Solving Aptitude

    • Expertise in Time Management, Including Organization and Prioritization

    • Meticulous Attention to Details

    • Strong Technical Proficiency and Rapid Learning Capacity

    • Must understand PECI integration between WD and ADP.

    • Configuration knowledge in following Workday modules: Workday Payroll, TIme and Absence, HCM, Security

    • Integration cloud connect including Packaged integration and connectors to integrate Workday data models with 3rd party systems

    • Understanding of Workday EIB,

    Nice to have Skills/Experience

    • Understanding of Role and Access Security and GDPR

    • International Payroll process

    • Master's degree in relevant business or technical discipline
