    Position summary

    oftware or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design and implement intelligent and thorough testing strategies to ensure quality delivery. Automate operational tasks to allow us to operate services at world scale. Build scalable, elastic services, capable of running in private Salesforce data centers and in public clouds. Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability. Design, implement and tune robust APIs and API framework-related features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment. Work with the user experience and product management teams to build modern, scalable, responsive, inclusive and accessible web applications. Continuously integrate and deploy your code, monitor it in the live service and learn through data-driven feedback loops on how to improve it. Participate in the team's on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

    Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

    A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

    Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) Spring MVC; (4) HTML5; (5) CSS; (6) Unit testing; (7) Agile methodologies; (8) Web APIs; (9) Database services; and (10) AWS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

    Salary: $155,605.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.

    For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $188,600.

    Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
