The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Infrastructure Platform Team comprises highly skilled and determined engineers committed to delivering exceptional results through strong domain knowledge, expertise and unwavering integrity. Our team is responsible for the Infrastructure Platform, encompassing both first-party and public cloud environments. As our footprint expands in size and complexity, we must consistently provide a top-tier platform to support our business operations today and accommodate the substantial scale anticipated in the near future.

You will contribute to the DevOps culture that spans the globe by participating in our automation initiatives and ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our platform. Your Impact:
Automate Everything**:** Design, build and maintain robust, reusable automation scripts and infrastructure services
Translate and migrate existing manual workflows into reusable, modular, and well documented code and APIs
Design, build, configure, test, update, document, implement scripts, and automate operational support in multiple infrastructure environments at world-scale
Continuously integrate and deploy your code, monitor live services and supporting hardware, and set up alerting mechanisms to ensure system health and availability. Learn through data-driven feedback loops to improve it
Demonstrate strong technical expertise in your team's domain area and focus on the most challenging deliveries
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role
Solid knowledge of basic programming concepts and respective scripting languages: .NET and PowerShell preferred.
Strong experience in automating a variety of Infrastructure and administration tasks
Broad knowledge of Operating Systems internals (preferably Windows) and Virtualization platforms
Working Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls)
Working Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, Configuration Management and Infrastructure as-code principles
Experience in deployment to and supporting AWS services (mainly EC2, S3, AKS, Lambda)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience with Source Code Management concepts and tools such as Git
Experience working with and troubleshooting large, highly available and high performance systems
Experience with Agile development methodology
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred skills:
Operating Systems architecture knowledge including security and programming interfaces.
Experience in creating PowerShell modules and .NET Core Microservices to automate operations within the Windows Platform
Proven track record in implementing DevOps principles where possible while engineering for scale in an enterprise environment
Experience with monitoring solutions, such as - Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
Ability to manage system issues, updates and upgrades for both first party and public cloud
Experience with public cloud development (e.g. AWS, GCP, Alibaba, and/or Azure platforms)
Experience with Terraform, Github, Cinc (Chef), Jenkins, Spinnaker
Knowledge of data platform services, such as MSSQL and MySQL
Knowledge of data concepts related to relational databases and NoSQL stores
