Due to growth, our Services team are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to be based in Perth. Utilising your proven skills and experience, you will deploy your passion for outcomes as you support Recurring and Renewal Contracts within Western Australia. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to gear up for an exciting period of growth across a variety of markets that are full of opportunity.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be empowered to work in an environment that will include a mix of time in the office, valuable face time with Customers and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals as you enjoy flexible hybrid working arrangements and make an Impact with the team at Schneider Electric.

Leveraging your technical knowledge and experience to grow Services annual revenue via our contractual Services arrangements, primarily focused on Recurring and Renewal contracts
Partnering with Marketing to define strategies and roadmaps the achieve business objectives
Taking a proactive approach to secure opportunities and achieve high conversion rates
Staying informed and networked across go-to-market channels
Supporting the promotion and deployment of new solutions within growing segments
Collaborating across a complex range of local and regional stakeholders, while also partnering with Sales teams and other passionate specialists
Mentoring and training our Service Representatives and Sales teams on how to identify and capture lead generation
Providing pre-sales support and act as a leader in contracting arrangements
Supporting site audits with End User customers and regular travel
Our ideal candidate will possess:
Proven Technical Sales background coupled with experience in a similar position (Account Manager or Business Development Manager), ideally similar Electrical markets
Strong communication skills, focused on relationships and confident in presenting with Impact
Proven ability to navigate the complexities of a truly global organisation
Consultative style, experienced in selling to a diverse range of Customers and a true growth focus
A digital mindset with proven skills in MS Office and previous experience in utilising a CRM
Those with relevant tertiary qualifications will be viewed favourably, as will those with a background in Electrical / Energy Management (LV/MV power systems products)
