Develop a strong trusted relationships with the business to influence business decisions and outcomes
Provide support to the business leaders from insights to actions to deliver and optimize business performance, by supporting strategy and participating to decision making
Act as entity controller for PA entities in AU and NZ
Drive the accountability and P&L ownership of key business stakeholders
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal Schneider policies
Review Industry and PA monthly financial results and KPIs and ensure accuracy
Support Finance transformation projects including ERP implementations and Migrations
About you:
You're highly driven and strategic individual focused on finding opportunities and ways to optimise work processes.
You have sound experience of accounting fundamentals. You thrive to act as a partner with business by delivering financial analysis, actionable insights, and governance/control.
Key skills and experience:
Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting plus any professional qualifications highly desirable
Demonstrated experience ideally around 10 years or more in a Finance/Accounting discipline
Exposure to Project/Service accounting and/or Software business models is desirable
Understanding of the relevant industries; People Leadership, Financial (P&L) Management, Strategic Thinking and Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting, Risk Management, Business Systems
Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
Knowledge of performance measurement
Mastery of systems, analytical, tools and data management
