The Team
**Our Industrial Automation team is focused on solutions that drive Automation, Electrification and Digital Intelligence in Industry, helping our Customers achieve greater resilience, competitiveness and sustainability within an industrial landscape that is rapidly evolving. As a proven market leader that supports various Customers (Energy, Mining, Metals, Food and Beverage, Water, Data Centers and Transport), we provide unique expertise across; Automation, Digitalisation, Industrial Intelligence, Software/AI and a range of Lifecycle Services and Advisory.
**The Opportunity
**Reporting to our National Engineering Manager and based at our Malaga (Perth) location, the Lead Engineer is a key technical leader within our Industry (Projects and Services) team and is responsible for the technical leadership of varied projects and services across our diverse portfolio including; design/development, testing, commissioning, maintenance and support of identified systems and/or components. You will make an Impact as a key interface with diverse Customers who will rely on your expertise as we provide solutions to help them navigate the complex New Energy Landscape.

Key Responsibilities
Technical leadership and oversight in relation to the delivery of various projects and services across: Automation, Control Systems, Software, Digital Twin, Industrial Intelligence and other upcoming technical solutions as they come to market
Lead project and services delivery including; planning, scheduling, resource allocation/utilisation and overall Customer delivery through proactive relationship management
Oversee project tasks on-site, proactively ensuring all HSE and Quality requirements are met and manage key Customer relationships through high levels of agile service delivery
Ensure adherence to relevant standards, procedures, productivity tools and other best practices within an organisation that embraces digital
Promote our reputation as a market leading solutions provider, focusing on business opportunities and ensuring safe, on time and on budget completion of various technical projects
Collaborate with various technical and non-technical stakeholders and related functions such as; Engineering, Sales, Pre-Sales, HSE, Supply Chain and others on a local and global scale
Focus on Customer delivery and satisfaction as you utilise your experience to support; End Users, Partners, Vendors, Contractors and others that you influence in this role
Ensure a level of Mastery within the team, actively developing new skills and ensuring that we are developing the workforce of the future through ongoing professional development opportunities
Ideal Candidate
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Engineers Australia Certification is great)
Previous experience delivering Industrial Automation Engineering projects with a strong focus on; control systems, digital solutions, ideally using Schneider Electric technology (AVEVA or Modicon)
Strong understanding of industrial networking concepts including; switches, routers, firewalls, network architectures and familiarity with network security principles for industrial environments
Domain experience to competently interpret process descriptions and to develop technical specifications and system designs
Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, data analytics, edge computing), cloud integration and cybersecurity for industrial control systems is desirable
Although not essential, those with an understanding of Schneider Electric offers, digital twins, machine learning applications, and advanced automation strategies will be viewed favourably
