JOB SUMMARY:
Staff position that provides support to outside Account Representatives, Inside Sales Support Representatives, and department initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare and assist Account Representatives with preparation of contract and product and service sales quotations
Review incoming sales bookings for completeness and accuracy prior to order entry
Maintain customer information, product records, and other areas of ERP System
Provide product knowledge assistance to department staff
Complete vendor forms and maintain online vendor procurement systems as necessary
Coordinate Certificate of Insurance requests as necessary
Assist Regional Manager with preparation of sales activity reporting
Interface with other departments as required
Provide backup support to other department staff as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Associates degree in Business or Engineering preferred
Electrical power industry experience
Thorough ASCO product knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills •
Ability to work independently
Strong business system and MS Office applications skills
Strong verbal and written communication
COMPETENCIES:
3 years of industry sales experience preferred
Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
Excels in problem solving
