    Position summary

    rgy Conservation/Transition/Efficiency to join our team. As a domain engineer, you will be responsible for designing solutions that improve energy efficiency of our Client's processes and therefore contribute in reduction in their environmental footprint. Majority of the cases we cover are around thermal energy optimization with concepts like heat recovery, de-steaming or heat pumps which are skills required for this job.

    You should have a deep understanding of energy systems and be able to develop creative solutions that improve energy efficiency while also meeting the organization's needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze energy flows of industrial sites and identify possible optimization.

    • Size equipment to implement those optimizations including heat exchangers, heat pumps, MVR, thermal storage, chillers etc.

    • Conduct thermal energy audits to identify areas of inefficiency and make recommendations for improvement.

    • Perform project feasibility and viability studies.

    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure energy projects meet their needs and requirements.

    • Research and evaluate emerging energy technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.

    • Monitor and report on energy usage and potential cost savings based on industry analysis and modeling. Also, summarize and explain concepts proposed in the professional reports.

    • Provide training and education on energy conservation to employees and other stakeholders.

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering or a related field

    • At least 5 years of experience in the domain of energy transition/conservation/efficiency.

    • Strong understanding of energy systems and energy efficiency principles and understanding of technologies such as heat exchangers, heat pumps, chillers, steam networks.

    • Ability to mine high voltage electrical grid related data and understand content.

    • Understanding of main electrical system principles (LV, MV and HV).

    • Experience conducting energy audits and implementing energy conservation projects.

    • Developing project schedules, budgets, and plans.

    • Good communication abilities, with the capacity to explain difficult technical information to stakeholders that are not technically minded.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards

    • Proficiency in energy modeling software and other relevant tools

    • Ability to find alternative way to find information.

    • Adaptative and fast learner.
