    Position summary

    Electric a great company** - and we are now looking to expand our team with a Supplier Quality Intern.

    About the role:

    Our department supports all upstream flows and processes, particularly in contact with our suppliers. You will join an international team of 12 people spread across several European countries. Communication with factories and suppliers will be primarily in English.

    What you will do:

    As part of the continuous improvement of our suppliers' and sites' performance, we are launching a digitalization program for our suppliers and sites in Europe.
    Several digital tool deployment projects are under study, and we need to accelerate the implementation of future projects to improve the productivity of our factories and suppliers in a rapidly changing industrial context.
    The intern will quickly be in contact with all 43 group factories in Europe and pilot suppliers of the program. The tools deployed in 2025 still require support to resolve issues, and the intern will be fully integrated into this process.

    We need our future intern's support in the following areas:

    • Supplier Quality Data Management: Improve data quality and develop dashboards and AI tools if needed. Use collected data, Tableau dashboards, and AI recommendations to identify suppliers needing support through a development plan

    • Remote Supplier Audit Digitalization: Draft specifications, participate in project meetings, conduct tests with pilot sites/suppliers, write progress reports, and help track discrepancies with internal or external providers

    • Optimization of Incoming Inspections at Plants: Organize meetings with plants to monitor project progress, identify blockers, escalate to project managers, ensure project schedules are up to date, and assist plants in updating tracking files

    • IT Problem Support (Jira / Tableau): Manage access, assist users, and help train supplier quality personnel (Quality Managers, Purchasing)

    • Monthly Reporting Preparation: Create PowerPoint summaries, update KPI tracking, and interact with internal and external stakeholders (Purchasing, Technical, Corporate Quality)

    What we need from you:

    • Ongoing studies in a university in Hungary; economics/engineering/business informatics field or related studies to Data Analytics / Operational Quality

    • Possible commitment for at least 1 year with minimum 1-year active student status

    • Strong Hungarian and English language knowledge are must have (both fluent speaking and writing)

    • You have confident digital skills, knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel- knowledge of basic formulas, able to work with data, PowerPoint) and MS Teams

    • You have interest or experience in operational quality (quality indicators, problem-solving methods, audit techniques)

    • You are familiar with the following data analytics tools: Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python (libraries)

    • Communication skills, proactivity, customer orientation are essentials for this role

    • Autonomous work and ability of remote communication are must haves

    • As soft skills we require teamwork in project mode and interpersonal skills
