• Conduct pre-energization checks such as:

  • HiPot testing
  • Ground continuity verification
  • Power setup activities

• Assign and complete functional test templates

• Ensure power sign-off by cross-functional teams and complete all commissioning scripts

• Report lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of AC/DC power principles

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Skilled in using test and diagnostic equipment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

• Familiarity with power/control systems, PLCs, and NEC standards (preferred)

Communication & Documentation

• Strong report writing and documentation skills

• Ability to write service reports, procedures, and professional correspondence

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple functions based on business needs

Safety & Compliance

• Adherence to safety policies and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

• Awareness of NFPA-70E or OSHA standards (preferred)

• Ability to identify and report workplace hazards

• Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime based on workload
