Conduct pre-energization checks such as:
Assign and complete functional test templates
Ensure power sign-off by cross-functional teams and complete all commissioning scripts
Report lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of AC/DC power principles
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Skilled in using test and diagnostic equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Familiarity with power/control systems, PLCs, and NEC standards (preferred)
Communication & Documentation
Strong report writing and documentation skills
Ability to write service reports, procedures, and professional correspondence
Excellent verbal communication skills
Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple functions based on business needs
Safety & Compliance
Adherence to safety policies and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Awareness of NFPA-70E or OSHA standards (preferred)
Ability to identify and report workplace hazards
Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime based on workload
