    Position summary

    • Develop the competency of University Recruits & Junior application engineers in your region.

    • Share best practice within team during technical forum & virtual teams

    Business Acumen:

    • Work closely with Solution sales engineers & Solution architect to support complex pre-sales opportunities

    • Validate the technical scope & hours in the quotation

    Standardization & Efficiency

    • Develop and maintain Standard scope of work.

    • Develop and deploy plans for improving efficiency of EPMS project deliverables

    Qualifications & Experience, Essential

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on control systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

    • Minimum of five (7) years of experience related to Electrical Power Monitoring Systems; Building Automation Systems, Systems Integration, and/or Energy Management Systems

    • Direct experience with deployment of Schneider Electric proprietary software such as Power Monitoring Expert and EcoStruxure Power Operations

    • Configuration and networking of power and energy meters including ION 9000 and Power Meters (PM 5000/8000 /HDPM6000)

    • Knowledge of and ability to interpret contract specifications and electrical drawing packages

    • Good understanding of industry standard communication protocols with an emphasis on Modbus, IEC 61850, and BACnet

    • Thorough understanding of the basics of electricity, power generation, power distribution, and power quality concepts

    • Stable work history

    • Willingness to travel 30% of time

    Qualifications, Desirable:

    • Experience working around electrical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, etc.

    • Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware

    • HMI configuration experience, including graphical screen development

    Skills:

    • Be open minded and creative

    • Self-driven and ability to take decisions

    • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment

    • Ability to communicate efficiently (oral & written) by listening and sharing information with internal and external stakeholders
