The position will be accountable for working within critical power environments for large organizations, across a wide customer base, demonstrating excellent communication and complete ownership of given tasks. These tasks will include review customer technical evaluations, propose solution, perform design documents, testing and commissioning, start-up on new installed equipment, maintenance and service activities on a variety of different UPS solutions.
Experience, Skills and Key Responsibility:
Understand customer power backup needs and propose suitable UPS solutions during offer stage
Perform Design and Technical documents for customer approval during execution stage.
Prepare necessary design calculations, customized testing & commissioning test documentation. technical elements of any O&M Manual, etc.
Support Project Technical Lead to integrate UPS system in the overall design and delivery scope
Participate in customer technical meetings for design review and approval
Will be responsible for all aspects of the technical elements of a solutions order, whilst working closely with Project Manager and Technical Leader of the project. The aim of the role being to deliver a best in class UPS solution to customer
Perform customer FAT testing and Level-2 support
This position is responsible to provide professional services for Schneider Electric customers and technical support/training for service partners, including technical site analysis to resolve customer issues and to perform field service duties on Schneider Electric's complete range of UPS products and solutions.
Participate and lead in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform consulting services at customer site as well as over the phone.
Work with customers, contractors, service partners, other members of the team, Sales Partners, Tech Support, and Manager to resolve escalated problems.
Document all required information for each site visit performed.
Manage installation projects as well as unit replacement when necessary.
Educate Schneider Electric customers on basic operation of their equipment. Inform customers of issues which they may have experience with their equipment in a way which is beneficial to the customer as well as Schneider Electric.
Must comply with all safety policies, practices, procedures, and cybersecurity
Skills and Attributes:
More than 10 years' experience within UPS industry or similar.
Professional technical bachelor or equivalent by experience
In-depth knowledge of electricity/electronics principles and codes
Strong and demonstrable customer skills
Very good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate
Good understanding of Schneider Electric

Must take international travel 50% of the time
Experience and skills we are looking for:
Bachelor or Master's degree in university or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering
English language fluent mandatory
More than 10 years of experience in UPS solution
Experience in performing design calculation for UPS selection and propose solution as per project and customer requirements
Experience in any competitor range of UPS , Schneider (Secure Power) UPS range experience is an advantage
Battery sizing calculation and selection ranges
Confirmed experience writing FAT/SAT Test protocols, Site installation, Testing and Commissioning
Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
Thorough understanding of all aspects of UPS systems, key components and its applications for IT/Data Centers/O&G/Buildings segments
Experience in the production of design documentation & its associated process review.
Understanding and experienced in project's business and environment
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Understanding of Power Systems / IT products and services

Works mainly for internal project and service technical teams (i.e. for DPT, DQT, DCT job family codes) along all the customer installation lifecycle, with some direct interaction with external customers related to his/her application domain/subdomain.
Commercial responsibilities:
In coordination with the Tendering team, Technical Lead and PM, participates in meetings with customers to clarify their needs; identifies technical limits; obtains approvals
Able to create quotation tools for calculations/studies
Tracks costs and improves profitability of the calculations/studies, considering the cost of both engineering and site travelling if commissioning is engaged
