Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Partner with team members across multiple offices and other partners ( Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure accurate Revenue Accounting.
Perform risk-based contract reviews ensuring products and related terms are properly reflected in our ERP reporting systems.
Assist in process improvements, especially by leveraging new technologies such as AI
Assist in required month-end close activities like accounting, reconciliations & reporting around revenue.
Ensure SOX compliance & support Audits.
Contribute to revenue policy updates and advancement.
Support process improvements and implementation for refinement in processes.
Compliance with ASC 606 accounting standards.
Work with a multi-national team, collaborating to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and teamwork.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
2+ years of experience with a background in a Big 4 public accounting firm or SAAS based multinational companies preferred.
Active CA designation and industry accounting experience.
working knowledge of current literature related to ASC 606.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Ability to work within a team to expedite completion of projects with other teams including FP&A, Sales, Marketing, and Information Systems.
Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP is preferred.
