Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Engage internal stakeholders and partners to obtain necessary inputs for product strategy & roadmap, get buy-in/commitments, and manage expectations
Create feature plans for each release, including acceptance criteria, use cases, etc.
Collaborate with engineering on release management: understand status, risks, dependencies and help address risks and resolve issues
Work closely with design in crafting simple, elegant, impactful experiences
Create base documentation and enable Outbound PM and Docs team
Collaborate with multiple teams to guide projects through development and bring high quality products to life
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products around growth, engagement, retention and monetization
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
Understand strategic and competitive position in the market and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Understand how customers are using the product, gains & pains, reasons for low usage and be the voice of the customer
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have:
5+ years of hands-on software product management experience
Experience defining, building and shipping multi-platform consumer-oriented mobile products
Deep understanding of iOS and Android mobile experience
Deep understanding of platform conventions on iOS and Android
Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to translate and articulate complicated business problems into easily understood solutions and functional requirements
Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities.... to do this, you must be good at saying, 'no' and having folks accept it.... to do this, you must be good at articulating how prioritized initiatives will benefit them
Ability to work cross-functionally with a distributed team across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Marketing and Business Development
Experience working in a global work environment and a high level of English, both written and spoken.
Passion for design thinking, product management best practices and shaping the future of how enterprises will collaborate
