While the program is set for 1 year (July through June), there may be opportunities throughout the year to be considered for open positions within Keck Medicine of USC
At any time during the program that there are unplanned staff shortages, we maintain the right to request the fellow support the gap in coverage while determining the best course of action;
This could be to consider the fellow for the position or recruit outside of the organization for the position
At the end of the program, if the fellow has not retained a position at Keck Medicine of USC, they will have the opportunity to consider any position within Sodexo or terminate the relationship in a desire to take employment elsewhere.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition, the ideal candidate will:
Preferred has passed the RD exam but will consider RD eligible for certification
Take and pass the RD exam within 3 months of employment
Have performed well within their clinical rotations, preferably completing rotations at Keck Medicine of USC

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
