What You'll Do
will provide guidance and training for team, mainly working with kitchen staff and supporting FOH operations;
will manage a staff of approximately 30 hourly employees
ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;
interface closely and daily with residents;
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff.

What You Bring
prior food service management experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred;
basic culinary knowledge;
knowledge of special diets, a dietary manager certification (CDM) is a plus;
strong team building skills with the ability to train and develop employees;
working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance;
the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
