Opening February 2024, Milford campus will be offering a 24-hour cashless micro market with grab and go selections in addition to a made to order component, Monday - Friday for breakfast and lunch.
As the Sodexo contact for EVS services, this position will also be responsible for supporting the onsite Yale EVS leaders and frontline staff - working with Bridgeport EVS General Manager for any support needs.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities of this role will include:
managing a team of approximately 20 union employees
working with unit financial reporting/budgets
strategic planning and marketing
training and development
providing strategic support to the management and hourly team
developing and maintaining positive client relationships
HR functions
scheduling
cash management and control

What You Bring
The successful candidate will possess:
at least 4 years food management experience in healthcare
union management experience
a strong financial acumen
a proven success in driving patient, retail customer and client satisfaction
a solid working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
computer literacy
excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills
