    Position summary

    ill report to Spotify's Asia-Pacific Head of Communications, based in Singapore.

    What You'll Do

    • Build and implement a communications strategy for South Korea that covers consumer, corporate communications and organic influencer relations

    • Work cross-functionally with the South Korean leadership team to determine communications plans and involvement in market initiatives

    • Identify storytelling opportunities that highlight Spotify's role in technology, music and podcast industry

    • Act as a trusted communications counsel on the South Korean market to the cross-functional team and global communications team

    • Develop and execute proactive publicity campaigns that elevate the role Spotify plays in local culture

    • Have a keen understanding of all things audio and build compelling narratives for Spotify that media and KOLs will want to share

    • Manage external PR agencies and one PR manager, ensuring efficiencies of time and resources

    • Handle any issues and crisis communications

    Who You Are

    • A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in PR and communications, preferably with experience in global technology companies

    • Strong music and creator industry knowledge, media contacts and relationships

    • Existing relationships with influencers and KOLs are a benefit

    • Strategic problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English

    • Ability to translate sophisticated concepts into clear communication

    • Strong understanding of data and insights

    • A great teammate who thinks globally
