    Position summary

    ans from insight to execution in our own RTM Austria. In the 3p markets you will support our brand management team to work with our distribution partners to execute our marketing plans according to our guidelines.

    Role Responsibilities

    For Austria (own RTM) and Benelux, Nordics and Switzerland (3p distribution):

    • Develop and introduce portfolio strategies
    • Develop and implement long-term growth strategies for the defined brands aligned with the VIA objectives (where to play and how to win) and making global strategy relevant for local consumer and market needs
    • Support local sales team in Austria and commercial teams in 3p markets on delivery of annual brand business targets (net sales, profit, market share)
    • Build brand equity through delivery of best-in-class brand plans, brand activation programs (consumer, shopper, customer target) and their excellent execution for the core brands (Roku, Hibiki, Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Laphroaig). In Austria support development from insight to full execution. In 3P work with 3p marketing teams to implement plans together with marketing teams at distributors.
    • Align on media strategy and annual media plan
    • Provide strategic input for channel strategy (Off /On trade, ecommerce) & channel plans development and rollout
    • Develop and roll out annual activity grids
    • Define and roll out brand KPIs tracking (annual and activity based)
    • Management and control of the annual marketing/trade marketing budget
    • Manage agency relationships in Austria (from tender to feedback process)
    • Close cooperation with the Brand Houses, international brand teams and insights
    • People development and management of the team (Austrian marketing team and 3P brand management)
    • Identify and work collaboratively across all markets to ensure that best practice is shared and applied
    • Be lead country and partner for international projects

    Qualifications

    • Min 7 years of marketing experience in an international FMCG company, preferably on a local and international level
    • Deep understanding of Austrian consumer & retail environment and media landscape
    • Proven experience in the areas of media planning, ATL, BTL, PR, Social- and Digital media
    • Experience in leading and aligning the development of a strategic brand vision and plan within a global matrix organization
    • Proven experience in managing complex agency networks and the ability to develop string agency-partnerships ("thinking partnership")
    • Ability to understand sales fundamentals and interest to develop close Marketing/sales relationship to achieve business goals
    • Project management experience
    • Experience working with the spirits industry and on trade is a plus
    • Up to 15% travel
    • Master degree with focus on Marketing, Business and related areas
    • Fluent in German and English
