This position is based in Madrid, Spain and will appeal to you if you are looking to manage the end-to-end employee life cycle. You will play a critical role in managing all aspects of employee relations from Onboarding to Offboarding, bringing your unique experience and perspective, fostering a productive workplace environment, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Role Responsibilities
Provides first level support to employees and managers on the resolution of HR issues/inquiries.
Independently handle and clarify general inquiries to the HR department based on established methods and standard operating procedures.
Provides service and direct support to address employee and manager issues/enquiries that cannot be addressed through self-service and uses independent judgment in making decisions based on established methods and procedures.
Preparation of monthly payroll changes for internal payroll team.
Advise on, interpret and manage contracts, HR/ PS policies and procedures
Supporting regional HR projects, managing programs and policies, including contracts, benefits, pensions, time &attendance, onboarding and offboarding, document management, relocation, etc., working in close cooperation with the respective departments, and external partners
Provides generalist support to primary customer group in support of local business partner where and when appropriate.
Administers and maintains Company benefits programs. Functions as a liaison between vendors and employees and advises employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefits matters. Compiles and maintains benefits records, billing and documents as required.
Ensure Employee Relations legal requirements are met at a local level to minimize exposure and liability
Prepares HRIS reports and data packages ad hoc as required
Interfaces with managers, employees, government agencies, providers and other external representatives as necessary.
Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity. Update knowledge base, program documentation, training materials and templates for future inquiries as required.
Makes regular audits of the HR information and keep updated the systems with all the HR databases.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Ability to work with others in a team environment
Familiar with a variety Human Resources concepts and practices
Attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Law or Labor Relations preferred.
Confident written and verbal English communication
Experience leading projects/ initiatives that require planning the work, collaboration with team members to solve obstacles and complete the work, communication
Experience working with HR systems - SuccessFactors preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently
Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
