Process Engineer Intern

The Process Engineer Intern will work alongside distillery operations on optimizing our fermentation process at Booker Noe Distillery.

Role Responsibilities

• 60% Assigned projects
• 20% Networking and mentoring
• 20% day-to-day support of Booker Noe Distillery

Qualifications

• Interns must be 21 by the start of the internship in June 2026.
• Interns must be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university and are preferably a rising senior or enrolled in a graduate program
• Ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently, paying close attention to detail and procedures
• Strong problem-solving & communication skills, working with others for input, clearly documenting work and results
• Self-starter, flexible, comfortable working in unstructured fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly
• Team player with collaborative style and good listening skills. Culturally sensitive and proven ability to understand, and work well with others
• Ability to perform material and energy balances
• Ability to perform fluid flow calculations
• Must be able to climb ladders and walk up and down stairs
• Must be able to walk moderate distances - up to a mile
• Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and cold for short periods of time
• Must be authorized to work in the US
