Join one of the world's largest premium spirits suppliers and take responsibility for managing a critically important piece of our business, Illinois Off-Premise channel. You'll have the opportunity to partner with dedicated distributor marketing and sales teams and work closely with key off premise accounts to build our business together by creating impactful plans and programs and driving best in class execution.

Role Responsibilities
Help develop and establish sustainable Off-Premise Strategy and Expectations for a critically important market. Be the go-to holistic manager for the whole Off Premise channel and hold our distributor partner accountable to our goals and objectives. Lead, inspire, and motivate a robust team of Channel Managers, whose responsibilities include day-to-day distributor management, distribution, demand creation, and promotional activity. Establish appropriate distributor off-premise targets and evaluate ROI of activities. Assist Senior State Director in achieving NSV, DGP and KPI targets for the Illinois market.
Align SGS and Distributor off-premise organizations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness to achieve maximum penetration of off-premise distribution and sales
Build and maintain relationships with key retailers in as directed by the Sr. State Director
Create and manage the strategy and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotional activity, and new item introductions, ensuring consistent compliance with SGS Standards
Create a culture of inclusion, diversity of thought, and accountability with our Off-Premise SGS team and Off-Premise distributor team
Set goals and programming in collaboration with Distributor to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual off-premise target
Work with and manage Off Premise distributor lead to track/monitor progress and ensure all goals are achieved
Ensure compliance with all Suntory Global Spirits National Account initiatives, including coordination with NA and local teams, proactive management of all programs, and follow up reporting
Successfully launch all innovation in the off-premise achieving volume and distributions KPI's as set out by corporate and local management
Successfully execute all off-premise events and use company created tracking and execution recaps as provided
Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly planning and market performance recap/review sessions with the Sr. State Director and Distributor teams to identify areas of opportunity and risk
Provide monthly sales training and communication to distributor sales force in areas of market, category and brand trends, as well as sales tactics and techniques. Plan and schedule wait staff training at key accounts
Keep current with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; ensure all efforts and sales activities are in compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and develop strong partnerships across the business
Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion, and selling techniques, alongside strong analytical capabilities is strongly recommended
Deep knowledge and experience of Off Premise Channel and understands the levers to pull to drive growth
Proven history of successful team management is beneficial
Experience working with a distributor is required
Exceptional planning and self-management skills
MS Office Suite
Budget development and management experience
Licensed driver of motor vehicles
Ability for intermittent travel
The salary range for this role, based in Illinois, is $115-120K, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset.
