    Position summary

    to juggle multiple responsibilities, including but not limited to:

    • Production Support: Ensuring the application runs smoothly and addressing any operational issues promptly.

    • Business Relationships: Maintaining strong connections with business stakeholders to align the application's capabilities with business needs.

    • Strategic Direction: Providing a vision and strategic direction to steer the application's future enhancements and growth.

    • Maintenance Delivery: Overseeing the regular updates and maintenance to keep the application in optimal condition.

    • Release Management: Coordinating and managing the release of new features and updates.

    • Vendor Management for Production Support and Maintenance: Supervising vendors responsible for supporting and maintaining the application.

    The role of the application owner for the CIAM application is critical in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of identity and access management services. With a combination of technical expertise and strategic vision, the application owner ensures that Hartford's digital applications are secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required

    • Experience in a technical lead role or higher

    • Mandatory AWS Cloud skills: EKS, S3, Lambdas, CloudFront, API Gateway (or another cloud provider equivalent)

    • Experience in Identity and Access Management products is a plus

    • Experience in Front-End/Mobile technologies like Angular and Ionic framework, Java, etc. is a plus

    • 7+ years of work experience in IT systems operations and application development. Preferably some experience in an SRE role.

    • Understanding of Linux system internals, familiarity with the TCP/IP stack, network routing, and load balancing is a plus

    • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $126,160 - $189,240
