"I've been employed by The Hartford for ten years. As long as you have drive, you can grow your career at The Hartford. The maternity leave is pretty good. Since I'm in CT I receive 12-weeks from the state and The Hartford also gives parents 4 weeks (100% paid) for bonding with your child."

"The Hartford is working toward improving bias awareness. I've been fortunate to have worked for several managers who took sction to minimize pay and promotion gaps. As The Hartford continues their post Covid work place strategy, I hope they consider the value of flexible work arrangements to their women associates."

"Participate in ERGs and C3s to develop your network. Find a woman in a higher tier that you can look to as a mentor. Don't be afraid to be yourself and ask for what you need."
