    Position summary

    strong relationships with our strategic partners, registered representatives, and firms

    • Build an efficient and thoughtful outreach strategy incorporating company and territory goals

    • Identify new opportunities and grow existing client base

    • Regularly update advisors on industry trends in the current economic environment

    • Present technical product knowledge in an innovative way

    • Demonstrate an elevated level of market knowledge and the ability to discuss Hartford Funds' investment solutions within a competitive marketplace

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent on-the-job experience)

    • Series 7 and Series 63 required

    • A minimum of 3 years of wholesaling experience (internal or external)

    • Technical proficiency of mutual funds, ETFs, and other Hartford Fund investment products

    • Strong understanding of the market and sales process; how to prospect for clients and close the sale

    • Demonstrated knowledge of investment trends and the financial advisory business

    • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently

    • Confidence in public speaking and excellent presentation skills

    • Must be resourceful and possess superior problem-solving skills

    • Coachable

    • Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $125,000 - $125,000
