Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and implement end-to-end business intelligence and analytical solutions.
Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or other advanced visualization tools.
Transform raw data sets into actionable insights for senior leaders.
Create functional and technical documentation for solutions.
Provide training on all delivered tools.
Collaborate with business teams to identify requirements and business needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and data consumers.
Analyze data using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools to develop insights.
Support business partners with reporting, dashboards, and other analytic solutions.
Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business teams.
Lead projects and work streams independently, engaging appropriate resources as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
Skilled in business analytics and able to translate insights to business partners.
Asks insightful questions to gather key information and build strong partnerships.
Continuously explores new technologies and methodologies to enhance data capabilities.
Communicates insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Curious about exploring GenAI solutions to improve customer experience.
Qualifications:
Experience building business intelligence and analytics tools is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights for key stakeholders.
Experience with Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot is preferred.
Experience with Snowflake or cloud technologies is a plus.
Interest in exploring GenAI solutions and new technologies.
Ability to analyze data, identify cause/effect relationships, and explore alternative solutions for decision making.
Confident self-starter capable of independently driving multiple concurrent tasks to completion.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in an Agile framework is a plus.
Property & Casualty insurance industry experience is a plus.
This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$74,800 - $112,200
