    Position summary

    Responsibilities

    • Design, run and continuously improve engaging and contemporary leadership development programs for various leader audiences

    • In partnership with HR Strategic Talent Partners and the business, determine strategic enterprise capability gaps; curate and deploy learning solutions to help build capabilities aligned with the Hartford's Behaviors and Leader Profile

    • Actively participate on enterprise strategic projects related to key Talent initiatives

    • Work closely with the Talent team in implementing the learning aspects of Strategic Workforce Planning projects

    • Consult with HR Business Partners to uncover learning gaps aligned with strategic business priorities; curate and deploy learning solutions to help drive business results

    • Evaluate and continuously improve learning solutions using contemporary learning methods and technology to provide an excellent customer experience and meet business needs

    • Collaborate across in a 'One Hartford' manner with peers in Talent, HR Learning, and the LOB training groups to ensure learning solutions align with the overall suite of solutions

    • Develop and report learning program performance metrics aligned with expected business outcomes

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in a consultative learning role, with a particular focus on leadership development. Proven capability in instructional design, adult learning, leadership development, and organizational development required

    • Strong preference for experience in a large corporate setting, financial services Fortune 150 company

    • Experience implementing the learning aspects of Strategic Workforce Planning projects

    • Strong business acumen and proven ability to innovate and utilize new technology in the learning field

    • Highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals with stakeholders from all levels; able to capture the attention of Senior Leaders through concise and creative storytelling

    • Results orientation with strong program/project management skills; driving strategy to execution

    • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

    Demonstrated:

    • Relationship skills - able to leverage and build on relationships with HRBPs, learning leaders, and business leaders at all levels

    • Customer service orientation and consultative skills

    • Strategic, flexible and innovative thinker, with a passion for learning

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $122,880 - $184,320
