    Position summary

    and evolve the New Hire, Professional Mastery, and Leadership learning pillars to ensure consistent development across all career stages.

    • Lead and inspire a team of learning professionals including Instructional Designers and Content Curators to deliver high-impact sales education.

    • Collaborate with senior sales leaders to understand strategic initiatives, identify capability gaps and deliver learning solutions that accelerate sales effectiveness and business growth.

    • Integrate AI tools and Copilot into learning design and delivery, enabling smarter workflows, personalized learning, and data-driven insights.

    • Represent Sales Enablement University in enterprise forums, sharing insights on sales trends, learning innovation, and AI adoption.

    • Deliver compelling executive updates that showcase progress, ROI, and strategic alignment of learning programs.

    • Drive a community of best practice with a focus on cost efficiency and scalability that is rooted in empowerment, innovation, customer-centricity and continuous improvement.

    • Manage competing priorities and education maturity levels across 5 major business units, maximizing common themes, designs, and approaches to meet demand

    • Coach and mentor team members to grow their sales acumen, leadership capabilities, and AI fluency.

    • Lead complex learning initiatives, managing budgets, timelines, and risks to ensure successful execution.

    • Ensure learning solutions are strategic, dynamic, interactive, and grounded in adult learning principles and real-world application.

    • Stay ahead of industry trends in sales enablement, adult learning, and AI by engaging with external networks and thought leaders.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years' progressive experience in learning and development within large corporate environments; insurance or financial services preferred

    • 5+ years' leadership experience, including enterprise-level sales enablement initiatives focused on continuous improvement, customer centricity, and change management

    • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business impact to senior stakeholders

    • Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and content creation; sales enablement experience a plus

    • Proven success driving adoption of new sales methodologies, tools, and training programs across cross-functional teams

    • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot) and enthusiasm for educating others

    • Excellent judgment, decision-making, strategic planning, and project management skills

    • Skilled in delivering clear, data-driven reports to assess learning impact and support strategic decisions

    • Willingness to travel 25-30%

    • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $128,480 - $192,720
