    Position summary

    rd, CT, Home Office and will include travel.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide safe and secure transportation for senior executives, travel with senior executives as required.

    • Conduct pre-trip security checks, advance planning for venues and events and vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is maintained and in excellent condition.

    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and operations.

    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless protective services.

    • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and be prepared to respond to any security incidents or emergencies.

    • Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage and other items as needed.

    • Coordinate with the corporate security team to stay informed about potential threats and security updates.

    • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of five years of experience as a professional driver, preferably as an executive driver or in a similar role within corporate security.

    • Previous experience in law enforcement, security or military service.

    • Basic First Aid, CPR and AED certified.

    • Certified in defensive driving, or willingness and ability to become certified.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make decisive actions under pressure.

    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and maintain physical readiness, including sitting for long periods while driving/traveling, able and willing to lift and carry luggage.

    • Demonstrated ability to maintain utmost discretion and professionalism.

    • Able and willing to work flexible hours, travel frequently including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $80,000 - $120,000
