    Position summary

    • Support the process for the Business Acceptance Committee, which is responsible for reviewing, discussing, and voting on additional compensation proposals and servicing fee arrangements. Prepare financial analyses and presentation materials, facilitate discussion among different teams (distribution, finance, legal, etc.), prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and maintain comprehensive tracker of all items brought to the committee.

    • Prepare presentation materials for various meetings and audiences, including senior leadership, sub-advisers, distribution partners, the Hartford Funds board of directors and The Hartford board of directors, among others. Coordinate efforts and gather information from different teams, use charts and graphics to present data in a clear and impactful way, effectively summarize and communicate key findings, and ensure accuracy of information included.

    • Continually perform industry research and analysis to understand the factors impacting the asset management landscape and how industry trends may be expected to impact the firm's strategic outlook, growth prospects, and long-term profitability. Evaluate opportunities to grow the business and provide insights into how Hartford Funds can best compete in the evolving asset management industry.

    • Undertake special projects and additional tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

    • 3-5 years of industry experience. Experience with financial intermediary and distribution arrangements a plus.

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and flexible models. Experience using Mekko Graphics a plus.

    • Highly detail-oriented and superior organizational skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple ongoing deliverables and meet deadlines.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and comfortability managing deliverables across different levels of leadership and departments across the organization.

    • Ability to facilitate processes and projects involving multiple teams and drive deliverables to conclusion.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $70,000 - $100,000
