    Position summary

    and driving continuous improvement. This role is crucial in aligning technology strategies with business goals and ensuring the ART delivers maximum value. The RTE focuses on delivering value by managing and facilitating program-level processes, execution, innovation, program dashboard management, team integrations, risk management, and continuous improvement.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage relationships with Product Managers, AVPs and VPs of IT Management, the Lean Portfolio Manager, and other leaders, ensuring alignment across roadmap planning, prioritization of features, benefit realization, epic status, and key risks.

    • Drive agile maturity at the program level, including planning periodic reviews and planning sessions with team and product stakeholders, such as ART Sync, Release Planning, System Demos & Solution Demos, the Inspect & Adapt Workshops, and the Scrum of Scrums.

    • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness and the PI Planning Event, optimizing readiness by fostering preparation of Vision, Backlogs, Roadmap, and Ideation processes.

    • Facilitate synchronization meetings and system/solution demos, ensuring PI objectives are visible and actively tracked.

    • Optimize the flow of value through the ART and foster collaboration across teams.

    • Provide staffing input to resolve bottlenecks and promote Communities of Practice and Built-In Quality practices.

    • Collaborate with the appropriate individuals to translate business strategy into technology strategy and ensure that capabilities required by the business are enabled.

    • Identify enterprise-level continuous improvement opportunities and drive alignment and implementation.

    • Execute on workforce transformation strategies, including vendor resources, to increase productivity and improve technical understanding where necessary to achieve an optimum balance.

    • Track and communicate key ART and Engineering metrics consistent with governance standards, using data insights to identify improvement opportunities.

    • Manage risks and dependencies, align execution with strategic goals, and use Inspect & Adapt cycles to assess agility and drive improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of IT leadership experience executing large scale programs and change management.

    • Proven track record as a results-oriented IT leader that collaborates well with business leaders and manages business outcomes.

    • Deep knowledge of technology, software Engineering, and experience in Scaled Agile methodology required

    • Strong understanding of business strategy and aligning technology roadmaps to business

    • Strong people leadership abilities with skills in coaching and mentoring talent

    • Ability to successfully work across all levels of the organization, including interacting with senior management

    • Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and experience working with an offshore delivery model

    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and thorough attention to detail

    • Proven Leadership through IT Transformations in building, managing and scaling teams to deliver outcomes

    his role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $116,000 - $174,000
