    Position summary

    rve as a critical thought partner and advisor to our leaders, and employees, demonstrating strong coaching and influencing skills to enhance organizational performance.

    • Align business objectives with The Hartford's Technology agenda to implement impactful people solutions.

    • Facilitate, design, and execute forward-looking people strategies including talent acquisition, organizational design and effectiveness, workforce planning, career development, skilling, performance management, engagement, succession planning, and retention strategies to build high-performing teams.

    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their impacts on the current and future workforce. Implement HR strategies to prepare for the future and ensure the organization remains competitive.

    • Champion initiatives to cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement within both the Technology organizations and the HR function; aiming to differentiate the employee experience and position the organization as the destination to work

    • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities that inform people and business decisions.

    • Participate as a member of project teams focusing on HR and cross-organizational initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in organizing, managing, and executing projects in various HR fields in a large corporate setting, experience supporting a Technology organization preferred. This includes Human Resources experience in partnering with managers on full employment lifecycle touchpoints.

    • Demonstrated experience successfully managing a workload with multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

    • Experience analyzing data and sharing value-added inferences based on data analysis. Experience with Tableau preferred experience with Workday a plus.

    • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity with strong work ethic; seeks to understand patterns, leveraging relationships with key stakeholders

    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

    • Demonstrated ability to adjust communication style and to articulate complex issues concisely

    • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of an organization

    • Able to excel in fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities; "comfortable in the grey"

    • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required; MS Teams experience helpful

    • Bachelor's degree required

    This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office (Hartford, CT and or Charlotte, NC Office) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $100,800 - $151,200
