    Position summary

    role is 100% remote for candidates residing in the MST/PST time zones, or Arizona only.

    Your schedule during training will be Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm MST / 6:30am - 3:00pm PST.

    Your schedule post training will be Mon-Fri 9:30am - 6:00pm MST / 8:30am - 5:00pm PST.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Partner with the Inside Sales Team in the sales acquisition process. Build leads, accept inbound calls, assign leads, and schedule call-backs to small business owners. No cold calling is performed.

    • Put the customer first by building strong relationships, being responsive to the customer - including through online chat, follow up on open quotes, close the sale and communicate outcomes to the Inside Sales Team.

    • Position and sell The Hartford's value proposition including its long-standing history, payroll deduct billing model, and additional coverages.

    • Support a high performing sales culture. Act with confidence, operate nimbly, prioritize, and manage daily work activities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Call center experience preferred.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Competitive nature and strong desire to win.

    • Goal oriented and metric focused.

    • Demonstration of solid time, organizational, and desk management skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to prioritize calls from an inbound phone queue.

    • Strong written communication skills, in conjunction with the ability to make outbound calls to both internal and external customers, to convert opportunities.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $46,000 - $69,000
