    Position summary

    nd understanding account structures for accurate ratings.

    • Rating supplemental health products (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity) in Priority Business.

    • Delivering proposals on time per quality standards.

    • Facilitating communication among team members and business partners.

    • Take responsibility for assigned tasks, proactively escalate issues when necessary, and consistently monitor and update the status of each case.

    • Supporting Regional Account Executives in an effort to meet business goals.

    • Adhering to documentation standards in accordance with quality requirements

    • Participating in weekly team huddles and actively attending performance and development calls with leader

    • Participating in special projects, and driving process improvements

    Qualifications:

    • College degree or equivalent and financial ratings experience preferred.

    • Knowledge of employee benefits and previous carrier booklets.

    • This position requires an 18-month commitment before being able to post internally for another role.

    • Understanding of organizational processes and systems.

    • Strong product knowledge, initiative, customer focus, and effective communication and teamwork.

    • Takes Ownership - Takes immediate and independent action, suggests improvements, sets high standards and works hard to achieve them.

    • Takes initiative - takes immediate and independent action when needed, suggests improvements.

    • Customer & market segment orientation - conveys a commitment to providing responsive customer service.

    This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $46,240 - $69,360
