    Position summary

    d allocated expense reporting at both the business/function and enterprise levels on an actual and outlook basis

    • Review and consolidate business/function specific analysis to develop enterprise level analysis and forward-looking commentary for monthly and quarterly ELT expense packages

    • Partner with direct teammates to manage the Allocation Method Repository (AMR) and Workforce Planning applications within TM1, associated tools and training for end users

    • Drive automation and process efficiencies with a focus on continuous improvement

    • Collaborate with TM1 developers and business partners in Finance to ensure the adequacy of data quality controls around expense reporting, forecasting and analysis, manage access and change management approvals, and development/enhancement of new data controls

    • Provide support to business partners with data-related inquiries, leveraging excellent communication skills to ensure clear and satisfactory resolutions

    • Develop strong working relationships throughout Enterprise Expense and the broader Finance organization; be a valuable thought partner in supporting the company's strategy and objectives

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

    • 5+ years of financial or accounting experience

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate financial results to all levels of management in a professional manner

    • Strong organization, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven and multi-tasking environment

    • Willingness to challenge the status quo with ongoing commitment to identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiencies and enhanced analytics

    • Highly motivated and inquisitive with a strong sense of accountability

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) & PowerPoint

    • TM1 & Tableau experience is a plus

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $81,600 - $122,400
