    Position summary

    partner teams, willingness to understand/adhere to existing processes and standards, solid technical acumen, experience in delivering quality technical solutions and ability to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring systems are stable, performant, and secure.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in application software solution development required

    • Hands on experience with using Angular 13 or newer required

    • Hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies, such as, Java Web Services, JMS, JSP, XML, JSON, JDBC etc.

    • Hands-on experience with .NET framework

    • Experience with Web Services (SOAP and Rest).

    • Experience with writing and using APIs.

    • Experience with containerization and experience in cloud infrastructure environments like Open Shift AWS.

    • Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational database technologies. Knowledge of open-source database technologies is beneficial.

    • Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, preferred tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube etc.

    • Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for all backend components.

    • Contribute to the code base and ensure code and processes adhere to clean code practices and industry best practices.

    • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.

    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in the security domain a plus.

    • Experience with rules engines like IBM ODM or Pega is nice-to-have.

    • Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS), SaaS, and open-source frameworks is helpful.

    • Scripting language such as Python is helpful.

    • Experience with AWS CloudFormation/ Terraform is a plus.

    Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $94,080 - $141,120
