    Position summary

    IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership and enforce the vision of the application architecture

    • Safeguard the integrity of the application environment in alliance with architects and other tech leads

    • Participate in all parts of SDLC- Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment.

    • Design and develop complex SQL, SSIS, SSRS code after writing detailed technical design specification.

    • Writing Scalable code in .NET (C#) application.

    • Drive technical innovation through newly identified and leading technologies

    • Possess functional knowledge of Financial systems and work with Business and deliver with highest technical quality.

    • Support and quickly respond to Production issues and requirements especially during month-end.

    • Manage, Integrate and deploy code in multiple environments.

    • Support financial month-end activities.

    • Prepare comprehensive technical requirements for the development team and oversee their completion.

    Qualifications**

    • Must be authorized to work in the US now and in the future.

    • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years developing SQL and .NET code.

    • Experience leading development efforts of a complex system.

    • Strong knowledge in SQL, SSIS and SSRS development.

    • Strong knowledge in .NET (C#) and Visual Studio.

    • Strong Troubleshooting skills and ability to reverse engineer SQL and .NET code.

    • Experience supporting Financial systems.

    • Be self-motivated, analytical, and skilled in research. Manage multiple priorities effectively, focus on details, and maintain a clear overall perspective.

    • Experience designing and implementing Microservices or API-based integrations.

    • Experience with DevOps practices including but not limited to continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) concepts and tools; familiarity with automated testing and code analysis tools.

    • A strong desire to stay on top of technology trends in the AI, cloud space as it relates to supporting Financial systems in AWS.

    • Strong skills in Excel and MS 365.

    • The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills with ability to effectively communicate solution recommendations and influence key stakeholders.

    Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $114,160 - $171,240
