    Position summary

    (C#) code after writing detailed technical design specification.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial application data elements and complete the data mapping

    • Work with JSON messages for data serialization and deserialization

    • Document business requirements, processes, and workflows in a clear and concise manner

    • Support Month-end activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years developing .Net (C#), Python, API development, and SQL Server.

    • Minimum 3 plus years as a Lead Developer in SQL and .Net.

    • Strong knowledge in .NET (C#), SQL, SSIS and SSRS development.

    • Functional knowledge of Financial systems (minimum 5 plus years) is required to work with Business and deliver with highest technical quality

    • Ability to support and quickly respond to Production issues and requirements especially during month-end

    • Experience working in Agile Environment and understanding of SCRUM process.

    • PeopleSoft Financials Accounts Payable knowledge is preferred.

    • Strong Troubleshooting skills and ability to reverse engineer SQL and .NET code.

    • Proven experience in building complex interfaces.

    • Strong skills in Excel, Visio and MS Office tools.

    • The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills with ability to effectively communicate solution recommendations and influence key stakeholders.

    • Experience with DevOps practices including but not limited to continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) concepts and tools; familiarity with automated testing and code analysis tools.

    Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $114,720 - $172,080
