    Position summary

    xpected to provide technical leadership, enforcing the vision of the application architecture and integrity of the application environment in alliance with architects and other tech leads.

    Lead team, performing hands-on coding is preferred. Need to conduct code reviews to maintain published coding standards.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies, proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET core.
    • Understanding of Batch and MQ is preferred.
    • Must have hands on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, experience with one or more relational database technologies such as Oracle Database.
    • Experience as Designer/Developer of REST/SOAP API services, both as consumer & provider.
    • Understanding of microservices, swagger and APIC is a plus.
    • Experience with unit testing frameworks like XUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
    • Knowledge and experience using AWS resources like Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Route 53, VPC, AWS Batch, AWS Directory, Service Catalog is preferred.
    • Experience using GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, uDeploy , Rally, checkmarx etc or AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy and AWS CodeStar.
    • Infrastructure as Code experience, like CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK is a plus.
    • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working in Agile teams in a highly collaborative environment. •
    • Demonstrate a high-level of independence but also a team player.
    • Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
    • Demonstrates high-level of independence, self-motivation, good judgment, and active listening skills.

    This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from Hartford, CT. Charlotte, NC. Chicago, IL. or Columbus, OH.

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    114,720 - 189,240

    The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
