business requirements, developing process documentation, and training end users. This individual provides leadership and project management expertise in implementing payroll related projects. They are responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing system modifications, and analyzing data flows to facilitate successful project implementation and improvements within the T&L and Payroll systems.
Reporting to the CSS Payroll Projects Manager, this individual will play a lead role in the team's objectives of maximizing the effectiveness of Payroll systems by implementing projects to achieve strategic business objectives.
What you'll be doing
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise
Partner with individual sites across north America and various business functions to understand business processes and needs to implement solutions for T&L and Payroll systems
Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and communications
Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
Collect the necessary information required to start projects
Identify project or process problems and shortfalls and propose solutions
Provide operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
Develop system test plans and conduct unit and system testing
Train end users or internal clients regarding processes and system functionality
Provide support for Payroll projects including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results and/or process flaws
What you bring
Previous end to end processing payroll experience, including integration imports/exports and impact to the General Ledger
Solid experience with payroll systems such as UKG Pro Workforce Management and UKG Pro
Solid understanding of payroll functions and processes, including audits and SOX controls
Ability to build relationships within CSS as well as cross-functional teams such as IT and HR
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Experience documenting processes, interfaces, data flows
Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data
Experience with and understanding of confidential nature of Payroll data
Consulting skills and strong team collaboration orientation
Project management skills
Naturally inquisitive and driven to pursue answers and insights through data and analyses
Demonstrated ability to work independently with general guidance
Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner

Experience with designing, configuring, and operating UKG Pro Workforce Management, Workforce Software, or UKG Pro
Experience with HR Systems and modules (Workday, ServiceNow, MS Project Manager etc.)
Hands-on experience configuring, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to meet customer requirements
Demonstrate experience managing change control for multiple applications within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
Strong working knowledge of computer sciences and applications/software
Ability to formulate and present recommendations regarding functional and technical solutions that improve business processes, enhance user experience, or reduce operating expenses
Payroll experience in a large, multi-state employer in a shared services environment
