Reporting to the Manager, Environmental and Facilities Plant Engineering, the person in this role will support the Department's objective to provide project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing sites, Research & Development Sites and Logistics and Distribution sites.
What you'll be doing
Engineer for North American facility projects
Develop and review criteria (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical) for design of buildings
Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing Centers (plants) in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards
Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems (HVAC, air compressor, boilers, chillers, etc.) as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management
Utilize experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs
Provide Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs
Prepare and report out detailed project status reports
Participate, conduct and lead engineering studies
What you bring
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience in building design and construction, including industrial buildings and building related systems
Project engineering experience for industrial construction projects
Experience with one or more of the following:
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to travel domestically up to 75%
Ability to work overtime as needed
Added bonus if you have
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Experience in industrial structural steel systems
Experience in large scale civil installations
Professional Engineering (PE) License
Experience with Project Management software such as MS Project, AutoDesk Build, Primavera, ProCore or similar
