    Position summary

    e TMMI site.

    Reporting to the Manager of Operations - Facilities Engineering, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities Department's objective to ensure plant infrastructure and utility systems robust operation to achieve plant production reliably, safely and cost effectively.

    What you'll be doing

    • Primary responsibility of supporting operations and maintenance for Plant utility and building systems - Electrical Distribution and Mechanical Systems

    • Perform work in compliance with safety, environmental, and cost management KPI targets

    • Prepare and implement operational and maintenance improvement strategies

    • Provide guidance to PE/TMMI staff in new projects/ drawing reviews / Arc Flash

    • Provide guidance and lead TMMI Electrical System Shutdowns and Maintenance program

    • Lead improvement strategies for core systems

    • Evaluate compliance issues related to Environmental and Safety Regulations and implement appropriate countermeasures for plant utility and building systems

    • Lead/support system meeting reviews to achieve group Hoshin objectives

    • Leading problem-solving activities and implementing strategies for long term success

    • Prepare Kaizen presentations on Safety, Environmental, Quality, Cost and Productivity

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or extensive facilities management experience supporting electrical distribution and mechanical systems.

    • 1-2 years plant utility systems experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

    • Experience managing multiple tasks

    • Experience managing budgets and external maintenance and repair contractors

    • Experience working with multiple disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural)

    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

    • Experience with equipment maintenance plans

    • Experience providing comprehensive analysis with specific data/details

    • Experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint - to effectively visualize business condition

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    Added bonus if you have

    • Substantial knowledge and skill in energy management and reduction activity

    • Experience in facility equipment refurbishment

    • Experience using a systematic problem solving method to implement root cause solution

    • Hands on experience maintaining equipment
