e primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the functional domain expert for Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS Logistics, bridging business needs with system capabilities. This individual will lead process mapping, backlog management, and implementation guidance while ensuring user adoption through training and support.
Reporting to the TBMNC Manufacturing Operation Application Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the TBMNC BEV Manufacturing Systems department's objective to optimize manufacturing and logistics operations by aligning business needs with Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS capabilities through process mapping, system implementation, and user adoption.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate closely with business leads to understand manufacturing and logistics operations, document current and future-state process flows, and translate business needs into clear system requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
Develop training materials and lead user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new system functionalities and process changes.
Develop detailed functional specifications for system enhancements.
Provide recommendations on the best implementation approach using Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS capabilities and guide the development team in executing these solutions.
Build and maintain a detailed backlog, ensuring all Jira user stories and epics are refined, well-documented, and tied to business value calculations.
Partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on impact and feasibility.
Continuously develop expertise in Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS and the broader Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Logistics Execution Systems (LES) space.
Stay up to date on industry trends and new manufacturing technology functionalities to optimize system platform utilization.
Act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, and developers. Lead Agile ceremonies, drive discussions on implementation methods, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions..
What you bring
B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field AND/OR commensurate experience.
10+ years of experience in a functional or business analyst role supporting manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), logistics execution and/or warehouse management systems.
Proven experience working with Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter (preferably EXDS) or a similar logistics MOM or MES execution platform.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with manufacturing and logistics stakeholders to map business processes, identify gaps, and translate logistics requirements into functional system specifications.
Ability to recommend and guide implementation approaches based on a strong understanding of Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS, ensuring the solution aligns with business needs and technical feasibility.
Experience building and managing a product backlog, writing detailed user stories, and refining work items for development teams.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse management, and inventory control.
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with both business stakeholders and IT development teams.

Work experience in the automotive or large-scale manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated experience in a large, global manufacturing and/or logistics operation.
Experience operating as a Product Owner in an Agile environment and using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Previous experience as a software developer or technical analyst, with an understanding of system configurations and integrations.
