    Position summary

    The primary responsibility of this role is to provide focused leadership on multi-year strategic initiatives, drive cross-functional collaboration, and has consolidate Toyota's existing ERP & financial systems into SAP, providing SAP RAR long-term support.

    Reporting to the Manager of Finance Application Modernization, the person in this role will support the Business Technology Platform department's objective is to sunset legacy ERP applications, migrate technology to SAP to reduce technical debt, work in a fast-paced team atmosphere, and strategically support business initiatives.

    What you'll be doing

    • Collaborate closely with business and SAP COE and IT stakeholders to thoroughly understand current business processes and requirements for migrating legacy financial system functionality into SAP.

    • Identify, prioritize, plan, and implement improvement activities to improve product quality, develop technology roadmap, and proactively manage technical debt.

    • Budget management, problem / issue management with owned products and systems.

    • Product Development team leadership to guide the development team members toward the product roadmap's delivery goals.

    • Professional development and introducing new technology in the financial, accounting, and SAP space.

    • The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA, including legacy system & data migration, PI/PO, FICO & Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).

    • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills to work across teams to develop and implement complex projects.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's (or higher degree) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar technical discipline, OR equivalent professional experience.

    • Enterprise-wide application support and modernization experience.

    • Experience working in an environment requiring management of multiple simultaneous, competing priorities.

    • Demonstratable experience managing several full-lifecycle large-scale IT projects implementing or upgrading financial systems and modules.

    • Strong knowledge troubleshooting ERP integrated applications.

    • Experience with creating and presenting executive updates, roadmaps, and recovery plans.

    • Advanced experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and/or similar testing tools.

    • Advanced experience in ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities.

    Added bonus if you have

    • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries.

    • Strong business process knowledge including corporate finance, accounts payable/receivable, banking, and/or deferred revenue recognition.

    • Prior experience with Java, SQL Server DB, Mainframe, ETL, API, Databricks, Python, Informatica, Cloud app modernization and/or AWS/Azure.

    • Incident management experience with identification of root cause, countermeasures & problem reports.

    • Hands -experience in SAP S/4HANA, legacy system modernization & data migration, PI/PO, SAP FICO, & SAP RAR.

    • Experience with OSS notes, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, and Version upgrades.

    • SAP Certification.
