    The person in this role will support the Department's objective to provide project management, engineering support, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing sites, Research & Development Sites and Logistics and Distribution sites.

    What you'll be doing

    • Lead project activity, including management of internal and external resources

    • Develop and review criteria (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical) for design of buildings.

    • Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing Centers (plants) in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards.

    • Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems (HVAC, air compressor, boilers, chillers, etc.) as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management.

    • Utilize experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs.

    • Provide Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs.

    • Prepare and report out detailed project status reports

    • Participate, conduct and lead engineering studies and technical problem solving

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher

    • Experience in building design and construction, including industrial buildings and building related systems

    • Experience as Project Lead for Model Change, Equipment Installation, or Building Construction

    • Experience with one or more of the following:

      • Industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.)
      • Industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher)
      • Controls such as PLC, networking systems, Building Management Systems and/or Variable Frequency Drive
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

    • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint

    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% during peak times dependent on project need

    Added bonus if you have

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering

    • Experience in industrial structural steel systems

    • Experience in large scale civil installations

    • Professional Engineering (PE) License

    • Experience with Project Management software such as MS Project, AutoDesk Build, Primavera, ProCore or similar
