Who we're looking for
Toyota is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Senior Manager - Consumer and Dealer Identity Security.
The primary responsibility of this role is to sponsor, advocate, and lead TMNA identity team and provide executive guidance on the Toyota Identity Security current conditions, future conditions, and gaps. They must develop, run, and maintain the TMNA identity platform roadmap and framework.
To ensure success in this position, they should possess seasoned knowledge regarding identity access management, identity governance, systems integration, and technical architecture. Also, the ability to coach and empower high-performing teams, collaborate across application teams within TMNA, and regionally. They must work closely with other cyber defense teams to protect TMNA from cyber incidents as needed.
Reporting to the General Manager of Identity Security, the person in this role will join the Core Cybersecurity team to deploy and maintain advanced, enterprise-wide security solutions.
This position is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.
What you'll be doing
Hands-on delivery lead for consumer and dealer identity platforms in a technical leadership role, providing direct contributions.
Extensive experience and comprehensive expertise in IAM standards and architecture, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and RBAC
Oversee product owners and work with technology and business teams to implement IAM best practices.
Define and maintain the IAM platform strategy and multi-year roadmap
Provide technical leadership and expertise in resolving IAM incidents and investigations.
Maintain cybersecurity standards, track assessments and remediation to safeguard Toyota assets, and manage enterprise metrics for identity and access management performance.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
15+ years in Enterprise IT or Identity Management with at least 7 years in leadership.
Strong technical and business expertise in enterprise IAM platforms, especially SailPoint, Entra ID, ForgeRock, and Auth0 (Okta).
Experience in the software development and architecture of complex enterprise systems
Proven leadership in building and developing high-performing teams through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentoring.
Skilled in planning, organizing, and leading service-oriented teams.
Adept at managing complex enterprise scenarios, building relationships, and driving change management to gain senior-level consensus both within and outside IT.

Security certifications, such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601)
